Wilmington Marine Center, Wilmington NC

Wilmington Marine Center is South Eastern North Carolina's first Clean Marina. They have been committed to clean water since day one, 25 years ago. 

Their efforts to keep our coastline clean and reduce ocean pollution include: maintaining maximum green space, recycling aluminum, monofilament, and other materials, disallowing in-water hull work and adhering to a set of Standard Operating Procedures that assure the cleanest possible facility.

A special thank you to our new friends and first marina partner, River Dunes Marina in Oriental NC. We appreciate your commitment to reduce plastics and for taking the time to reach out and offer your support and generosity to us!

River Dunes already meets our plastic-reducing goals, and is part of the Clean Marina program, "a nationwide program developed by the National Marine Environmental Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to clean up waterways for better recreational boating."
